Secondaire:
Nutrition pour une vie saine 120
Understanding nutrition is fundamental to living a healthy life. In Nutrition 120, learners will explore a variety of practices to contribute to individual and community nutritional well-being, including nutritional practices, community influences, marketing strategies and sustainability related to eating practices. Learners will examine the basic science of nutrition as well as influences (e.g., internal, external), on their individual eating experiences while exploring cultural and community connections to the foods they eat. By thinking critically about the “why” behind food marketing and regulation standards, they will develop skills necessary to recognize their personal nutritional needs in relation to their own bodies, experiences, and influences. By completing this course, learners will be able to determine the energy needs of their own bodies and make informed decisions around eating.
