High School Block:
Metals Processing 120
Metal Processing 120 allows students to enhance basic skills developed in Metals Processing 110. Learners will be introduced to new processes, equipment, and procedures that will advance their skills and knowledge in metals processing. This additional skill development will better prepare learners for post-secondary learning or entry into the industry workforce. Students must have successfully completed Metals Processing 110 as a pre-requisite.
In order to successfully achieve the goals set forth by this curriculum, class size is limited to a maximum of twenty (20) students. It must be noted that the class size may be further limited based on the physical space available to offer a safe working environment for our learners. It is highly recommended that educators of this course have relevant knowledge and experience with the safe use of machine tools required in this curriculum.
