middle Block:

Physical Education

Physical Education learners set goals and make positive choices about their own physical wellness and well-being and seek out increased opportunities for healthy decision-making. They demonstrate understanding about the importance of safety and procedure through their actions and participation in guided and self-directed activities. Learners develop increased efficiency and effectiveness of movement skills and concepts. They take previously learned skills and transfer them to more complex situations. Thirty minutes of structured daily physical education time is recommended to build endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility. This will support immediate and long-term health and well-being.
