Business Management 120

The vision for Business Management 120 is to support learners in understanding the competencies, roles and responsibilities related to business management in a globally responsive economy. In Business Management 120 learners will examine how decisions made through leadership impact themselves, workers, Indigenous Peoples, and both local and global economies. The skills developed throughout the course can be transferred to a variety of leadership situations both within and outside of a business community. 

Learners in Business Management 120 will cover a variety of areas related to leadership and management within an organization. Learners will have the opportunity to examine the impacts of decision-making on a health-promoting work environment, workers, and local and global economies. The topics will include the portrait of a manager, management roles and responsibilities, globally responsive business management, and managerial career pathways.
