Basic English Introductions and Expressions
This bundle of classes will provide students with a strong introduction and foundation in expressing basic information about themselves in English – their name, age, feelings, address, and telephone number. Primarily aimed at speaking and listening skills, reading, and writing will also be incorporated throughout the classes.

2 Digit Addition
This bundle is meant to be used to introduce 2-digit addition to grade 2 students for the first time. It focuses on representing numbers symbolically using manipulatives and images (Building Block of N9). Students should be capable of using multiple strategies to solve problems with answers up to 20 prior to beginning these lessons. Note: 2 digit subtraction should be taught at the same time or immediately following these strategies.

These 6 lessons introduce Signposts (Beers and Probst, 2012) that are commonly found in works of fiction and can be used to strengthen reading comprehension. The signposts are introduced using visual and digital texts that are accessible to students at a range of reading levels as well as to multilingual learners at various stages of English proficiency.
